Paris, the most evocative of all names, world-wide symbol of French radiance of French prestige, in the fields of Art, Pholosophy, and Elegance.

The city has grown beautiful, over the centuries; it now offers the visitor an unequalled galaxy of historical, artistic and monumental richesses. Paris lies in the middle of the Seine valley; the river, runs across hills which have helped to give the city its variety of features: the heights of Ménilmontant, Sainte-Genevière « Mountain », with the Panthéon at the top, the Chaillot hill, the Butte Montmartre dominates by the Sacré-C¦ur Basilica.

Paris is divided into two distinct parts by the Seine. The North side or the Right Bank as it is called is the centre of commercial life, of wonderful monuments and big hotels, large cafés and restaurants,
theatres and cinemas.

The South side, or the Left Bank, quieter is the Paris of Students and artists, the scientific, judicial, parliamentary and religious Paris. However, the two Banks are very close each other and form one entity.
